Free note taking software

KeyNote NF is a free, open-source note-taking application. It offers the option of of keeping many separate notes in a single file, and those notes can be arranged as ‘trees’. Unlike Microsoft Wordpad, for example, Keynote SF enables rich text, so that users can change the font and colour of their text. It has a tabbed interface and is extremely user-friendly, allowing notes to be stored either singly or as multiple, nested pages of notes.
